Compatibility Check:

1. Access the RED Engineering menu by holding the NAV button up then immediately the RADIO button down simultaneously for about 5 seconds, then release.
2. Select "Version Information."
3. Your version information will appear on the screen (e.g., MHI2...).
4. Compare your version information with the Vehicle Compatibility table below.

Hardware Requirements:

Audi smartphone interface (CarPlay & Android Auto) requires a fully functional USB interface. If your car has a "Charge only" port, you'll need to replace the USB ports and install the necessary wiring.

Enabling Navigation:

If your car lacks factory-enabled navigation, you might need to make coding changes using VCDS/OBD11 or similar tools. We provide all necessary instructions. If your car already has navigation enabled, no changes are required.
